The role of the Mission Vision Team is to:
- Ensure that the Circuit Meeting remains focused upon the Circuit Mission Policy.
- Facilitate turning the Mission Statement into strategy and action.
- Oversee Church Mission Reviews which ask the difficult questions.
- Consider the missional aspects of grant applications
The Mission Vision Team has a membership of no more than 15 voting members. It is a repesentative group that seeks to be balanced with regard to age, gender, ethnicity, geography, and theological approach. The group consists of some office holders and some chosen for their 'skill set', passion and enthusiasm. The team responds to and guides the Circuit Meeting and the Mission Action Groups on mission.
