The Bloomberg Youth Climate Action Fund
New programme supporting young people aged 15 to 24 to lead climate and environment-focused projects.
What’s available? The new fund provides grants of between £700 and £4,500.
What can I spend the money on? Projects focusing on:
· Nature and Green Spaces
· Green Skills and Careers
· Water and Climate Resilience
Who can apply? Projects must be designed and led by young people aged 15 to 24, with the supporting organisation helping to develop ideas and deliver activities. Applications close at 5pm, Friday 23rd October 2026.

Common Ground Award (MHCLG)
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has announced the second round of the Common Ground Award which aims to:
- Identify and reward good practice in building social connections across and between different communities and people from different backgrounds.
- Invest in the shared physical facilities and spaces that builds cohesion and resilience through enabling people from different backgrounds to come together.
- Build a community of practice, for knowledge sharing across the voluntary and community sector and with government
Applicants must be directly working on at least one of the following core themes:
- Encouraging and enabling social mixing, promoting understanding and reducing divisions between different communities and people from different backgrounds.
- Reducing prejudice, discrimination and hatred directed toward individuals and communities because of their background.
- Resolving conflict and addressing tensions across and between communities.
For example, applicants can work to build cohesion and resilience across and between communities from different faiths and beliefs, ethnicities, ages, geographies, cultures, and nationalities. To apply click here. Deadline 12 October at 2pm.
