I was born in Norwich 53 years ago and since then have criss-crossed the country. I am married to Cathy and we have four grown up children; two of whom live in York, one in the Netherlands and our youngest is with us until next year.
I have been a minister since 1984 and have served in circuits in Bristol, Ipswich, Birmingham and North Kent. I was the Superintendent of the former Ecclesall Circuit from September 2012.
I enjoy the countryside and open spaces, reading and music. In recent weeks I have enjoyed knocking the garden into shape. The Taizé community means a lot to me. I am intrigued how our churches live faithfully in the 21st century with authenticity, openness and integrity.
In the new circuit, Tim has responsibility for the nurture and pastoral care of the presbyters, deacons and lay workers and their families, and will have pastoral oversight of probationers.
